It was Chicago's Sears Tower today, which for some reason has been renamed the Willis Tower. I don't know who or what "Willis" is, but I am reasonably confident people will keep calling it the Sears Tower for some time to come.
It's 442 metres, or 82 ascents on my stairs. This comes to 2214 steps up in total which is quite close to the actual number in the Sears Tower, 2109. The discrepancy is in part due to the fact that my height figure goes to the very top of the roof.
